Kristin Kopp

Kristin Kopp is Associate Professor of German Studies at the University of Missouri and a founding member of the international research network BTWH (Berkeley/Tübingen/Vienna/Harvard).

From 2001-2005 she was Assistant Professor of German at Harvard University. Since 2005, she has been a member of the German Studies faculty at the University of Missouri and also belongs to the Film Studies and Black Studies faculties of this university. Since 2014, she has been a research associate with the Black German Studies Network research group.

At the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for History and Society (LBIGG), renamed the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital History (LBIDH) in March 2019, she was a researcher in the project “Exploring the interwar world: The travelogues of Colin Ross (1885-1945)” (2015-2017, FWF Austrian Science Fund) and collaborator on the project “Red Vienna Sourcebook” (2017-2020, City of Vienna MA 7, chapter editor).
